The Tampa Bay Rays have advanced plans for a new Tampa ballpark while public approvals remain unresolved.
The Tampa Bay Rays are continuing to advance plans for a proposed new ballpark in Tampa, but public approvals remain unresolved.
The proposed stadium is part of a larger redevelopment effort in the West Tampa area. Current plans target a 2029 opening, although the timeline depends on additional approvals and agreements.
The stadium project remains one of the biggest development stories in Tampa Bay.
