Waymo may expand its autonomous ride-hailing service from Tampa into Pinellas County.
Waymo could expand its self-driving taxi service into Pinellas County.
The company has been mapping Tampa streets since December and currently operates a limited service for Waymo employees in the Tampa area. A public launch date for Tampa has not been announced.
If the service expands, autonomous rides could eventually connect more communities across the Tampa Bay region.
